Mission

FLITE Basketball is a student-oriented basketball program that serves youth in grades 5-12. Established in 1993 by Loren Schwarzhoff—Boise State University Director of Basketball Operations (1999-2002)—FLITE uses the basketball experience as a foundation to build academic, civic, and leadership skills.

FLITE strives to enhance the overall development of the student-athlete. Additionally, FLITE understands the value of athletics in the overall development of youth and uses the game as a vehicle for teaching life's rules and valuable lessons on and off the court.

Currently FLITE is helping hundreds of students prepare athletically and academically for Junior High School, High School and to compete for college scholarships. The goal of FLITE is to help these young student-athletes earn scholarships by providing basketball tutelage and, more importantly, the educational firepower to succeed.

The main objective of FLITE Basketball is to teach, develop, organize, manage and offer youth players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
